M Parallel wheels on E82!

I’ve seen this asked and thought to myself “why not??” I was already running 8J ET25 and 9J ET38 and this specific fitment is not much more aggressive (unlike the 7series versions which are significantly more aggressive)

These are E39 Style 37 (M Parallel) sizes (Non-M5)
18x8J ET20
18x9J ET24
72.56 to 74.1 hub ring

I am planning on doing the rear hub swap before I get tires mounted so I can take proper measurements to ensure max width while keeping the rubbing minimal. That will leave the rear wheel flush with the current fender outer edge.

I’m hoping to be able to run 215/40 F and 245/35 R but we’ll see.

I’ve got Dinan fixed camber plates and running around 1.9* front and 2.3* rear. Rear fenders are rolled

Run more camber, like -3 or more, and it will fit with a bit of stretch on standard hubs.

Hey b1aze, I'm looking at a set of style 37s for my 128. How did these end up fitting and what tire size? My rear fenders are rolled a touch and I'm going to be going coilovers /w front camber plates soon.

Never followed through with them and just signed the title over to a new owner.

Is this a staggered set up or just fronts? What tire size are you running? I have a set of fronts at my shop that I want to throw on but don’t want to buy 3 tires to find a size that works.
