So sad. These cars were built to be driven.

In late 2011 I found an E82 1M for my client after production had ended. He realized that I was correct that it was going to be a great car after telling him about it for 18 months.

He still has his 997.1 911 Turbo he ordered with special equipment and basically stopped driving it because he immediately fell in love with his 1M after the first drive.

He said it felt alive in his hands, and that the Turbo was crazy in regards to power and speed but the 1M has power one can use without going to jail.

He still says he will never sell it. His 1M only has 1,200 miles and he has put on 200 of it.
I never could understand how anyone can get a real feel of any car in only 200 miles.

Just went on a 550kms drive with a bunch of mates. (Range of cars). Had an absolute blast and just couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. Have had bunch of M cars (e30,36,46,92, e39 m5) and the 1M is by far the most fun. I love the e46 m3 especially, but the fun factor hands down goes to the 1M!

I 1000% agree!!!

I've driven just about every sports car in the sub $120K price point and none I can say are more fun and put a big smile on my face than our 1M

I do a lot of runs out West here in Northern Virginia into wine country and I can drive these back country roads for hours. Time just flies!

I guess the trolls didn't stay around long and us boys just stay around and share our 1M rides to justify the $92K buyer

It's funny, but those M2 and M2C owners really want everyone to know that there car is somehow superior to our 1M.

I guess they just need to keep telling themselves?

However, we know the real deal 😎

Did you catch the Chris Harris M2C review I posted up? He's just so whatever about the car, didn't seem genuinely excited or impressed...kinda like ehh 😕
