Lost Reverse in my 6MT ('13 135i)

Can't put transmission into Reverse, a wall popped out of nowhere. No changes to vehicle. Tried putting into 1st, 2nd, etc then Reverse, still wall? I was able to get it in after 5 minutes and thought it was a temporary issue, now I'm at home and still a wall.

Any immediate help is appreciated!

Check fluid and level first off.
I don't know names, but it sounds to me like something isn't disengaging and allowing you to shift to reverse. A syncro or blocker ring. I can't find pictures either.
But I say check fluid because maybe you get lucky and it's stuck because it's dry.

Can you get reverse when the car is off?

No reverse when car off, had clutch replaced 10k miles ago. I'll check out the fluids, thanks for the response.

EDIT: Fluid is full.
