Could someone tell me the materials which make up leatherette.

Leatherette is just simply synthetic leather.

Think of it though, not as vinyl, but as Naughahyde, the kind of synthetic leather you would get on a lesser expensive couch. Still nice to sit on & nothing like what your dashboard is made of.

I'm a huge fan of leatherette. In fact, I'm kind of annoyed that you can't get light gray leatherette on the e90........I have to get REAL leather if I want light gray interior. Leatherette is VERY durable, cleans up superbly, and looks great. I may be biased, because it makes things much easier when carrying around a 3 year old child on a daily basis.........

duddym got right!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't get leather b/c I am afraid that my son will kill it.

But if I did not have to worry about that, Grey leather would have been it for me!!!
