this is the direct answer form HArtge USA

1.What is the difference between the engine conversion ECU and the top speed limit ECU?
There’s two ECU’s available, the performance ECU will give you a gain of 44 Hp, while the top speed limit ECU will remove the limiter without any performance.
2.Can these be detected by the BMW Dealers?
Yes
3.If so, do we have to remove them all the time, when we take our cars to the dealer?
Yes it can be removed, however it will take you about 2 hours to removed. The harness it’s what takes the longer.
