I wonder if 19" BMW 230 wheels will work on a BMW 135 - 2010? They are 8x19 et 37 in front and 9x19 et 39 in back. I will use 235 35 19 tyres all around (Nokian winter tyres). My setup today is VMR 8,5x19 225 30 19 et 45 front and 9,5x19 255 30 19 et 45 rear. The car is lowered with H&R coilovers. Rear fenders are rolled. With two people in the backseat there is some minor rubb occasionally (rear).
What do you guys think?

no, they will not fit. understanding and calculating offsets is very simple.

what you need to do is go to this website link below, and type in the OEM wheel widths and offsets, and that of the wheels you want to compare. the most aggressive fitment would be something like +15 - 18 in the front and rear over stock.

the OEM wheel offsets IIRC are +49 on 7.5" wheel in the front and +52 on an 8.5" wheel for the rear.

here is an example calculation, and why e46 m3 rear wheels will not fit on this car.

using 8.5 et 52 for the 135 and 9.5 et 27 for the m3, this fitment would be exactly like running a 38mm spacer on your stock rear 18s.

as you can imagine, that would come nowhere near fitting. the most aggressive you want to get in the rear over stock is about 15mm.

Are you 100% sure that it wont work? If i use the calculator i almost get the same values as my current setup. In front +2 mm and the rear same offset.
Any second opinion?

imo that offset in the rear is too aggressive, but if you are happy with the fitment you have now, you should be fine

the front fitment seems overly aggressive as well, but again, if you like the fitment you have now, you are fine

you must have one hell of a fender roll to fit that kind of wheel and tire on coilovers

You can't just base things off of the stock (conservative) set up.

Here are two (known) figures I use to help me figure out what fits:

- Stock 264 rear on 245 rflts - with 12mm spacer (so effectively et40) , dropped, no fender roll = just at the edge of no rub

- et56 9.5 rear wheel with 265/35/18 - dropped with medium fender roll and pull = still have 5 mm room between fender and wheel when fully compressed

That said, I think you might be slightly over the edge on that set up. Maybe max negative camber?
