Dunlop RFTs vs Bridgestone RFTs

Just realized my 135i came with the dunlops.. I was curious as to how they compare to the Bridgestones...

Now I've never driven this car with another tire, but I sure know it's a pain in the ass (or should i say on the back) whenever I accidentally hit a pothole or crack on the street (which account for 95% of the drivable area in harrisburg)

I don't know about dunlop's but the Bridgestone run-craps suck. I've had three go out on me in 14K miles. The latest was just today when the valve stem broke.

I'm in the market for non run-craps. Replacing 3 pairs of tires in a year and a half is too much.

love my bridgestones

I have the bridgestone re050's and have had no problem with them. I managed to get 33,000 miles with them. My fronts had atleast another 5-10k left on them.

I purchased non runflats and drove them hard for a week before returning them and went back to the re050's. Non runflats on a stock suspension change the entire car. My wife and I hated them. Plenty of traction just loose sloppy suspension do to the sidewall flex. The car didn't feel stable at high speeds.

This car was designed around runflats. So I'll trust that BMW engineers know a little more than I do.

Not really. New tires tend to have a greasy feel until they've been properly heat cycled. I'd guess that this had more to do with his dissatisfaction. There is nothing good about any RFT.
