17"x8" M6 Replicas with 205/50/17 Will they fit?
Hi,
I saw a great set of M6 replica rims that are 17" x 8 +35mm offset. I have a set of new Michelin Alpin PA2 205/50/17. The guy selling the rims (no install) says 7.5 is as wide as I can go and another guy with install says he sells 205's with 8" all the time. ???? |

I think the offset is too aggressive. This is the closest I found:
Wheels: Beyern Mesh Front: 17 x 8 offset 40 Spacer: none Rear: 17 x 8 offset 40 Spacer: none Tires: Front Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R 245-40-17 Rear Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R 245-40-17 |

205 on a 8" wheel is just slightly too much.
I have 205 on a 7.5 and it is about as wide as you want to go. and +35mm offset will be very tight in the front. My best suggestion is you might fit a 215/50/17 front and 235/45/17 rear on those wheels, but the front might need to be rolled |
