Boostane question

Has anyone in Cali/Arizona/Nevada tried running Boostane to achieve 91 oct? My car feels like it pulling quite a bit of timing (having had time to log) since I switched my ps2 car to my MHD Stage 2+ tune. I know a protune is best, but it may be a while before I have time for that.

Has anyone used Boostane to up our CAN 91 to 93? Some quick math tells me that it would really only cost me about 3.50$ per fill-up to up my octane to 93, but I'm not sure how real the octane boost is. I want to try and switch my map to a 93 map and see if that cleans things up.

another approach, is there any benefit to running maybe e20 (stock fueling) on a 91 map to clean up timing corrections? That's another more annoying route (closest e85 station is about 15 min from me and totally out of the way of my commute).

Are you driving the car hard or just putting around town? I would get the car tuned before doing any hard driving. It would suck to lose a motor due to a lean run condition (adding E makes it worse).
