Euro & PCD together & other specials
Hello to all
ED deliveries have been picking up at a pretty solid pace. I just wanted to re-inform everyone that you can also do Performance Center Delivery in combination with ED for the ultimate experience. Over the last year or so I've had the opportunity to work with many of you here & of course thank you for that. For those that are a little newer, here is the rundown: - I typically do about $650 over ED invoice for 1ddict members - We complete all paper work by UPS or FED ex, unfortunately this typically means I don't actually get to meet you, but it's easier for you. - You just have to get your self to Europe & then to South Carolina - Last but not least, you have fun Please check out the pdf files below for additional information As usual thank you to all for everything! Just got back from SC after converting the back end of the ED/PCD Daily Double (stretched out to a life like 6 weeks), and all I can say is if you are a Yank and can't do at least one of the two you are not maximizing the car buying experience.
Had a great time running at breakneck speed in Deutschland, and then at a greatly reduced but much more frenzied pace at the Greer test facility. Both experiences taught me volumes about the capabilities of the 135, and it has seriously more talent that can be wrung out of it than I can hopefully ever muster. And Dave was the man who set everything up for me. Each step was flawlessly executed, and he kept me informed at each critical juincture during the entire 4 month process (even though it felt like 4 years at times). Thanks a bunch, Dave! It's a nice feeling to give back something to someone who has contributed a bunch to making this board a great source of information, especially since yours come from the inside. Never met you, but if we ever do I owe you a bourbon and coke or whatever your drink of choice may be.

Dave,
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 128i and have just discovered 1addicts and your thread. All of your effort is very much appreciated. One big question I have is whether I can get the chrome trim to replace the shadowline trim (presumably from the factory) on a sport package car with or without ED and PCD (I would prefer to do both with you proposal). This chrome thing is a pretty big deal for me, even though it is only cosmetic. I'm willing to pay for the parts and labor. I just want it done before the car is delivered.

I know I answered this for you on the phone already, but I'll answer here for others. The only way to have the trims swapped will be at your local dealers. |

Just want to say, as someone who did both European Delivery + PCD last year, it is a blast. If you're planning on both buying a BMW and going to Europe anyway, there's no excuse not to do it!

dbtheo, I plan on doing ED for a 135 around February, wondering if you still offer this, as well as if you could Email me any information that would be helpful for a recent college grad without any credit.
Also, can no PCD be done with the ED from you as well? Taking 2 weeks off for the ED is half my PTO and the PCD might be a little too much. My email is MarkPackert at Yahoo dot Com |

I just went from my dealership and ask about E92M because I'm planning to get one after my lease is up. But they told me that they are running out of it and they're having a hard time to get an allocation since June of next year is the last production line of it. Is it true? I'm from Norcal BTW. Thanks!
