Brakes catching

Having issues with my passenger front brakes. The wheel will spin and catch in the same spot every time. I took it in for service and bmw is telling me that an alignment will fix this. Am I wrong in thinking that an alignment has nothing to do with this? They quoted me $250 for an alignment which is absurd. What could me the issue.

Side note...these are the 3rd set of brakes and rotors (the first two were warped) in 35k miles.

Find a different dealer (*seriously*). Do both front rotors warp, or just one side? Stuck piston maybe?

I agree with this. Alignment has ZERO relation to this issue..

Warped rotor. This will be the 4th set on the front!! Wtf!! I had to talk to the shop foreman to get to this point. They tried to tell me that not having run flat tires ( I have pss, stock size) could be a factor in the car pulling to the right. Luckily it's all covered under warranty, but at this point I will argue to the death before I pay for brakes in less than 25k miles.

Yep, that's bullshit. You must have a dragging caliper, or something isn't lubricated properly. You're not one of those two-footed drivers that's always on the brakes, are you?

Working on it. Friend of a friend is a SA in Orange County. Looks like I'm driving there from now on.

Apparently they use unicorn horns to make sure it's straight. I told them to pound sand on the price, so they gave me a discount.
