Oil cooler... missing?
So, I ran into something strange today while attempting to put in my 1M oil cooler ducts for my bumper. I removed the OEM ducts and... no oil cooler? Has anyone run into this, is it by design from early 2008 models? I didn't take a picture of it before putting the bumper back on but did take a picture of moy oem ducts which do not look the same as the ones from the 1M duct DIY. Picture with red circles is from the DIY where you can see the oil cooler opening. Then mine where the duct does not have that.

I think I remember reading something about early non sport packaged 135's not having the increased high speed limiter so no oil cooler, or something like that. Do a search for more info. Might have to do with a vert having no sport package (again, no increased high speed limiter) so no oil cooler, as well.

It is code 840 - High Speed Synchronisation (at least that's what it's called in the VIN decoder below).
Check your VIN in a VIN decoder, OP. Try this one ---->>> http://bimmer.work
