No Air!!
Sorry to post this here, I know it's technically the wrong spot. I've posted it in the right place and wasn't able to get a response. Thanks for the help.
Curious if my blower motor has stopped working. --Very small amounts of air now come out of my vents, regardless of intensity setting. --The air does get hot/cold with the corresponding setting. When I turn the ac on, it gets cold, etc. --When I turn the air off completely, no air comes out of the vents at all Ideas? Thanks |

Update:
I got a look at my blower motor. It does turn on and off, but the spinning speed stays the same no matter what speed setting the HVAC is on. My cabin air filter is clean. The primary HVAC fuse (88) is not blown. Is there a second module that controls blower speed that could be broken? Final stage unit maybe? Thanks. |

Usually there is a blower motor resistor which regulates the fan speed. I just got my 135 yesterday so I havent had to dig.
If you apply power and the fan moves, replace both anyway. In my experience the resistor fails because the motor is drawing too many amps. Last edited by jmfc01; 07-15-2018 at 03:42 PM.. Reason: added more |

Without seeing the schematic, it's hard to say, but I agree with jmfc01. Replace both.
A lot of those variable resistors go bad and you lose adjustment, but they'll either be off or full blast. I would replace the resistor and the motor. |
