Well I'll find out tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. The diagnostics would be good for interest sake if you feel like scanning :P

Also was gonna get headlights, but will work out to 3000+ euro for me since I have stock halogens and would need new module, coding, retrofit kit etc etc. Enjoy it dude!
In the ETK, these LCI lights are not offered as retrofit kit, hence the confusion. We ordered them in parts form.

The LCI headlights come in halogen too. The sockets look similar. Check the out

Data taken from key today. Car was registrated here in Dec 2008. Production was Oct 2008. No error indication.
If service interval overdue or lights (except LED) not working, Check Control will show. Although this service report is not as detail as with the car on the test-stand, it's good enough for me

While doing the tailights, I also disconnected the electrical valve to keep the exhaust flap always open. No error indication also

FYI guys, Tischers price for these is apparently even lower than the UnitedBMW group buy so PM Evan or Jason and they'll get you hooked up.

So LCI lights should work on all models no problems I gather? This should clear up all the questions everyone had!

Yup.

I installed the LCI tailights on a Oct 2008 built 125i. Front xenon was standard from factory. It was a simple replacement. The car was checked at our local agent, no error code display. I'll scan a copy of the diagnostic printout for you when I get back.

I've also ordered a pair of LCI front headlights at 600 euro each. Expecting to arrived in 3 weeks. Will keep you posted
Thanks toto4dwin. Just an observation. The LCI Xenons have an LED Eyebrow. How do you think that is going to light up considering the pre-LCI don't have eyebrow?

Please keep us posted

The rear LED in the tailight is parallel to bulb 5 (parking light). When bulb 5 fail, there'll be a check error because the circuit is broken. But when LED fail, there's no warning. And the whole rear light assembly have to be replaced.

The front LED seems to be tapping power from the yellow 'ring' lights. Will keep you posted when they arrive

Thanks dude How did you come to the conclusion that the LED Eyebrow is getting power from the Angel Eye lights?

Eagerly await your feedback! If you have an email address please PM me so we can keep in touch as well.

So you think if I get the Bi-Xenon LCI headlights and plug them in, the Angel Eyes and LED Eyebrow will light up? Considering I have stock halogen at the moment.

Then I would just need a HID kit for the projectors?

I'm trying to ask a few guys here... Even BMW aren't sure..

Interesting, I just picked this thread back up after a bit and was surprised to see the retrofit might bit be as hard as first thought.

I say just try it. Tischers price is the best I've seen plus if they don't work I'm sure they'd take them back no issues.

Is there a DIY on this replacement tail lights? Or is this as simple as taking off some screws and plugging in the bulbs?

They use the same lighting carrier as your old lights I believe, so they should have the same features including rear fog.
