Help: Tail Light bulbe replacement.

On the rear tail lights, there are 3 strips that illuminate when you unlock your car. Which Bulb is the one responsible for these strips?

Thanks guys, as I left my manual at work and not able to get it over the weekend.

I always thought the strips were LEDs, but I may be wrong about that.

I think I'd let the dealer sort this one out. The bulbs shouldn't be failing this early either way.

I thought they were LED too, maybe they are. Anyone know for sure?

Common failure for the 1 series coupes...must take to dealer to have the entire light assembly replaced. Mine went, so did two other cars I know of. I suggest everyone check their rear tailights.

One of mine failed. Dealer had to replace the ENTIRE assembly

Yep - they are LED's. God help us when the warranty is over.
