Third party Extended Warranty
Anyone using a third party service for extended warranties?
I just got quoted close to 5 grand for 4 more years @ 12,000 miles a year (80K total). Going to bank roll myself unless I can find something close to 3 grand. |

i was quoted about the same ($5k for a similar amount of time). I decided against it. I think my 1M loves me.....and i will take my chances!
Very few times i have actually ever bought an extended warranty for electronics, goods, etc...and it has almost NEVER paid off. My 1M has been pretty damn reliable so far aside from a leaky fuel injector....so all is well! Would rather spend that money on aggressive maintenance. |

I think these things are built pretty stout. The engine is a Z4 engine not some crazy rare S series engine. If the 1M had its own engine I would be more worried. Manual tranny will be fine. Suspension is M3...etc. Electronics wont be to bad either as those prices will come down.
