Very clean! Great job, no need for a new BMW now!

Enjoyed having proper summer tires on this car for the first time ever.

Oh yeah, and staggered M Contours fit with no rubbing, no need to fuss around with alignment specs or fender rolling.

Installed some Morimoto LEDs in the front and rear dome lights. Light output is miles better than the crappy old halogens, and the welcome lights at night look SICK.

Woke up early this morning and went for a drive while the family was asleep. I definitely have to make it a habit because the roads were empty and peaceful. Especially at the lookout hearing all the birds singing in spring!

Just removed my ZHP knob after 2 days. Not at all a fan of the way it jived with my SSK. Took way too much effect to shift and ended up slowing things down. Also wasn't a fan of the aluminum trim at the bottom as it didn't really fit in with my interior. Back to the ol' tried and true broom stick for the extra leverage.

May I ask where you were? Normally, I'm often in Ogdensburg picking up parts delivered there plus we have 2 very favourite restaurants, one Chinese and the other Italian.

I feel like a lot of people are underwhelmed with the ZHP knob. I actually really like mine, but I also don't have a SSK and my original knob/boot were in rough shape. I may be biased by the aesthetic improvement...

110k mile oil change, RVSUSA triboceramic treatment #1, trimmed side skirts and modified my front mud flaps to fit the 1M fenders.

Now need to trim the wheel liner a touch, tweak the side skirt bolts, and rivet them back on!

Wrapped my interior trim brushed steel to get rid of the ugly wood on Friday (ignore the filthy interior haha), then Saturday we had the nicest day this year so far in Ontario so had the first proper wash of the year and went on a cruise with some friends. Now just waiting for these stupid Covid restrictions to end so I can go hit the track!

Successfully installed the rally wheel. No airbag light. Blinkers turn off. Flashpower on eBay, had resistors and was machined properly.

Kind of a random question but, which O-ring do you use for the Throttle Body/Charge pipe connection?
I have an N55, but I've always felt that this connection is loose or something. There's some movement there, and I've always got a decent amount of blow by every 10-15k miles when I check even with a catch can, and I just don't know if I'm missing something. I've been using the same o-ring that's used for the Oil Filter and I have an ER charge pipe.

Maybe it's normal, or maybe it's just remnants from other oil leaks somewhere in the car? I've mentioned it to the indy's I've had work on my car but they don't really think it's an issue. The worst part is that the whole area below the TB, the steering column and where the DME sit get covered in muck.

Haven't been on here in a bit but today I bought a used coupe trunk and PSM style carbon spoiler. Moving into a new place with a nice big garage and I'll finally be able to knock out some of the bodywork I've been putting off. The coupe trunk will be trimmer at the back edge to fit my cabrio. This kills two birds with one trunk, gets rid of the unsightly and useless antenna and allows me to run a much bigger variety of spoilers.

My Recaros might actually get finished next month too. So far it's been 9 months since ordering (they sent the wrong seats in December )

When I had them both in my hands the new TB gasket and OFH cap gasket were different. Mi just ordered the part specifically from FCP based on RealOem part numbers for the TB gasket specifically. Fits in the CP lip.

You definitely shouldn't have blowby in your bay from the CP/TB. I'd want to investigate where it's coming from though. In my case I think every gasket in the car was worn out by 100k mi.

Was never a fan of the OEM glacier trim but damn that looks nice! How difficult was it and what did it run you?
