X3 rear diffuser?

I really like the 1M rear bumper option for the e82. Only thing I do not like is the fact that I can only find dual/quad exhaust options for the diffuser. Not really wanting to upgrade my exhaust to quad, but I do not want to leave one side empty. So I started looking around.

As I am sitting in a parking lot today a X3 pulls in a spot in front of me. Looking at the bumper I noticed that they have the M package rear bumper and only have the exhaust on the left.

My next question is, will the X3M rear diffuser fit the 1M diffuser space? If so that would fix my dilemma without me having to fab up my own diffuser.

I am posting over in the X3 forum to see if someone could do some measuring. Thought people would like to know my discovery. I will keep you posted.

Hmm. Needs photoshop...

Z4 used to have a great carbon rear aero that needed to cut bumper. it would have fit well...

Not related, but I'd also love to put those little fender extensions on and see how it looks. Those look really cool on the X3. Porsche has them on the 997.2 GT3 RS

It doesn't look like it would fit. The sides on the 1m area straight whereas the X3 are a little flared out. Also I'm sure the X3 is wider.
