That URL you are sharing contains a search id. I'm taking a stab here but I'm sure it'd also have your user id linked to it stored in the db. So when someone else goes to the search page trying to access a specific search id it will fail silently and just return no results.

I filed a police report against this bloke today. I doubt anything will come of it but we'll see what happens. I also spoke with my bank and they told me to file a dispute against the transaction so there is a chance I could get my money back.

On a lighter note, I bought a set of LCI tail lights on Tuesday from Brisbane. The guy was absolutely excellent. He wanted a bank transfer but I told him I would only do Paypal because of this recent incident. He didn't mind at all. He even shipped the lights out within an hour of me sending the money, before it had even come out of my account or appeared in his. He sent me photos of the receipt and tracking number instantly too. Absolute champion. I wish more people were like him.

I have bought and sold countless things on this and VW/Audi forums over the previous years and have never had anything but good experiences. I have been taking it for granted quite clearly.

Its a good idea to use the buyer seller feedback on here, that should help a little. Although I just realised that I have been leaving other people feedback but they have not been leaving any for me!

Just going to bump this thread. The guy is still selling parts on Gumtree so be warned. Don't buy from him unless you can personally pick them up. And if you do, kick him in the teeth for me.
