Bluetooth Phone Initial Volume

Hi all,

Whenever I answer a phone call or make a phone call in my 1, the volume is initially and annoyingly very loud. Even with my music at a low volume the first phone call after starting the car always rocks my ear holes.

Is there a way to lower the volume besides getting hit with loudness and manually turning down the volume dial?

The bluetooth adaptability in these cars sucks massive balls. It will always suck. It will never suck less. The quicker you accept this reality the better. I have not yet accepted it and still get pissed off every time it doesn't work right, which is daily.

Sadly, I was expecting this.

On another note, my garage door opener attached to my rearview mirror has significantly lost its range. It could either be the receiver on the garage door or the transmitter in the car. :

I think on the BT - while you are on a call you can turn down the volume in the phone and it will be quieter through the stereo. I think I had the same issue w/ my iPhone and that was the solution. (Might have been on my old 04 e60 tho.)

Happy it worked! Also be careful going the other way too. If the phone volume of down and you turn up the stereo to hear the caller when you end the call the music is LOUD!
