Best pads for the street?

Hey guys I know this topic has probably been discussed but I would like to know what's out there currently that's best option for the street , I heard of sport tech and portfield r4-s. Is sport tech decent enough or should I spend extra cash for something better?

Also mention / link who sells them for the best price please.

Thanks!

BMW pads hands down the best for the street. I have tried all. Best cold bite which is what you want.

Nacho is right -- the factory OEM pads are perfectly fine for the street.
No drama, no fuss, no muss. They dust like crazy but that's life - nothing is free.

If you are hellbent on aftermarket street pads, you could go with Stoptech Sport, Ferodo DS2500, or PFC Z-rated. None of them offer anything substantively better than the stockers for street use. Over in the M3 forums (the 1M uses the E9x M3 brake setup) some of the hard parkers there like the Akebono ceramics for OEM-like performance with much less dusting.
