Question Help! Alarm triggered by dogs in car!

Haven't had this happen on any other cars with alarms.
I put my two small dogs in the back seat, locked the car and started to go into a store and suddenly the alarm went off. I walked back, reset it with the key fob, relocked it and started to go in the store again and the alarm went off. I had to leave the car unlocked while in the store. Is it there movement in the car, or maybe them barking?
Surely this isn't normal? Is there some setting that can be changed?

Thanks,

This is the case for my car - there is a motion detector in the car. After you hit the lock button, hit it a 2nd time within a few seconds.
