Subwoofer options

I really want to add a small 10" sub or maybe even an 8". What are the easiest options to put in the trunk? Any issues i might encounter if i get one installed? Like, any electric issue i could come across? I rather just use the stock head unit and not spend alot of money on electronics since im not even in the car that much. But do crave a lille bit more bass.

Anyways any info would be greatly appreciated.

I used a plug & play system from Musicar NW. Included amp and sub. Super happy with it and with them too. I started with the stock Harmon Kardon system.

You need to say what stock setup you have, there are several, and each has a different answer for what to do.

Thanks for the reply! I checked out there site and I’m not that far from their place of business since I live in the PNW. I like how the box is flush in the trunk. I might have to go that route since I dont need anything more than 1 8-10” sub. Plus I like how it looks oem back there.
