Wear Sensor after upgrading to 135i calipers on a 128i
I upgraded to 135i Calipers and rotors for my 128i. However, the pads I have, from Brembo, do not have a wear sensor. Since it didn't seem to come off the pad that was on there before, nor do these Brembo pads seem to have a place for it, I cut the cable. My assumption was without a sensor making electrical contact with the rotor the car would think there is always plenty of pad.
However, my brake light is on and I can't clear the code. What is the solution for adding a wear sensor to a 135i brake setup on my 128i?

Close the sensor loop……don’t bother with the sensor itself - waste of time and money IMO.

Yep just twist the wires back on each other and tape it. Other option is to just unplug them and code them off, which is what I did.

Sorry for being a bit slow with this, but how does simply cutting off the sensor (with or without taping the wires back) close the sensor loop? Wouldn't disconnecting the sensor loop be similar to cutting the wires, leaving the circuit open and thus having the warning light always on?
