good luck,
from personally experience the cops will laugh at you over the phone and tell u since you are out of state its not their jurisdiction, that it falls under cyber crime, and that your an idiot for doing a deal in good faith with someone you met on a internet forum (their words not mine).
your best case is through paypal, but im assuming you did "gift" so you cant do that
