The Fab Factory Manifold review
So I got this little silver baby in the mail the other day and immediately started
to plan how I'm going to install this great piece of art in my engine bay It took quite some time and a lot of late nights working on it but the results speak for them selves. I think it turned out brilliant and I really took my time to plan and clean the engine bay up and hide the wiring and plumbing that I physically could. I'll have dyno figures and logs for you guys hopefully by the weekend. |

More outstanding work to get that FF working with twin turbos, Marty.
That engine bay is so well organised. Your 1M would have to be one of the most consistent and well setup cars in regard to tune in the country, and probably a whole lot further. Run after run is predictable....40 back to back runs on the dyno last week showed that. The improvement in mid range power and torque with the FF manifold can really be felt on the road and now the dyno proves the driving impressions to be correct.

Thought your goal with the 1M was to keep the engine bay as stock as possible?

Was till i saw this manifold and just had to have one
Once ceramic coated in black dissipation coating and the filter box gets done and hide some more stuff it should be good Im glad i got this manifold such a huge difference in power and smoithness and dont have to worry about splitting the plastic manifold again |

Manifold looks amazing, but all those welds in the charge pipe are quite hideous IMO

Agreed its a prototype, the productiin one is going to be better
The problem is getting 1.25D 3 inch 90 deg bends If youu can get them, very expensive, you can get them in stainless so im in the process of maybe getting stainless throttle body adapters Its all about cost Last edited by martymil; 07-18-2017 at 05:39 AM.. |
