So is there just going to be H&R springs or are they going to release a cupkit for the 1er?

Garage List
I have H&R race springs and Koni yellows on my E46. I pretty much scrape up my front everywhere I go, I have to park 3-5 inches away from parking curbs, and I can barely get my foot under the front.

As much as I like it, and it looks sick as hell, I do not think I will be lowering the 1. Then again if it looks horrible and has a good amount of wheel gap, then maybe we will go with some Coilovers.

I think a lot of people will keep it stock for a few months...there is something to be said about getting used to the way your car looks and wanting to make it look better.....take that into consideration when looking at the votes

I have my GTI lowered about 2 inches on a set of KW coilovers. Let me just say that I L-O-V-E the ride. Not too harsh, definitely not too soft! Just right! I would recommend KW, very high quality and great balanced ride. Here's a pic:

The owner of the car states he has KW v2 coilovers on it.

Coming from the VW community I don't know if I could resist not lowering it. My H&R coils on my GTI significantly improved the looks and handling without sacrificing too much in comfort or driveability.
