any info on any bmw-performance products for the 1M? - there have been some rumours...

i am going to drop my car off tomorrow. Can anyone that has done ED on their 1M confirm that they left the mats in the car, that the car arrived in the US with them?
looking for this specifically on the 1M... not an ED of a car years ago or on a regular 1er i already plan to pack the triangle and the first aid kit.... just want to confirm i need to before i stuff my bags with mats... |

OP, No they aren't Standard on the 1M. I purchased the 1M Orange Stitching ///M floor mats here, along with a few other items. Best price I have found.
Circle BMW of NJ http://www.circlebmwparts.com/cgi-bi...ords&nh=3&mh=1 The 1M comes with just plain Black mats at Delivery at the Welt. There is no reason why they shouldn't be in the car at delivery time in the US.

Let's see if that works for you. The PCD e-mail is fairly vague, but based on the fact that they will see no floormats on yours, they may give you the orange stitched ones.
This is the 'policy': Floor Mats Carpet floor mats that match the BMW’s interior carpet color will be automatically installed in all vehicles that do not ship from the factory with mats. By submitting the reservation for your customer to take delivery at the BMW Performance Center, you authorized carpet mats to be installed in your customer’s vehicle and your center’s Parts Department account will be debited for the cost of the mats. In the event floor mats are on backorder and not available to be installed prior to delivery, the cost will not be debited to your center. In those situations, you will need to arrange for floor mats to be ordered and installed at your BMW Center.
