N54 Boost Issues After JB4 Install
My buddy has 2008 335i N54. He's having problems hitting target boost at 14.5lbs after jb4 install. Current mods are just Downpipes. Car won't boost over 8.5psi. The car drives normal like stock. Any advice. The car has been checked for boost leaks and everything looks normal. He's exchanged emails with the guys at Burger tuning but no luck finding solutions. Thanks.

I'm not an expert, but no codes thrown?
I would: De-install JB4 and check if all is normal and stock boost is ok. Re-install JB4 and check again. Still bad? Contact BMS and swap JB4 Good luck

Has he updated firmware? Is he running G4 or G5 unit? He could try doing a disaster firmware reset on the box. Do other JB4 related features work?
Does he (or you) have a BMS USB cable?

Do you give your car time for oil temps to go over 160 degrees F? If not your car maintains stock boost until oil temps are >160 Degrees F with the JB4

I'm actually not sure if it's still available, but you used to be able to use a laptop to force the JB4 board back to it's factory firmware.

Map 8 would only register 1-3 psi at most.
