Your Ap can tell you what version ROM you have, even if it isn't married to the car. just plug it into the OBD and DL the cars ECU program onto the AP, then plug the AP into AP manager, and upload the map, it has the ROM in the map name.

Just courious if the DME update from BMW will be a warranty/ free service as im out of warranty by a few months. Ive been having the serging issue over 2years now, my local BMW service centre has not yet resolve this issue.
