The question is do you want to have orange stitching and piece of leather or not. I do not like the additional colors in the 1M interior. For that you pay about at least 150 EUR on top.

I mean the difference between the orange stitched one and the original ///M - stitched with blue ring, its all around €600,--

You are correct...never heard of VO stitching. Plus, I wouldn't rely on only photos and lighting to compare the two oranges. Perhaps we can have Marcel do a side-by-side shot with the seat stitching.

The shop told me they ordered the stitching from BMW to ensure the color is identical. (this was also the reason it took quite some to before it was ready)
I am currently traveling and will not be able to install it and make pictures the coming 2 weeks.

FYI: the wheel can be used with the original center cap, the alcantara one I bought is optional. The price mentioned in the the first post is without the alcantara center cap (I double checked this with the shop I bought it from)

it is indeed. But if I understood correctly, you can buy the M logo separately to glue it on. Need to check that. Didn't think of it before...

Nice looking wheel but he should have used orange alcantara instead of orange leather.

you think? the original wheel uses leather (yellow for the standard performance wheel, blue for the M performance wheel). I followed the same trend. I also think that orange alcantara will be quite tricky. But of course, taste is very personal
Arrange one with orange alcantara and we can compare

Yea, I have seen the blue stripe wheel in person. It looks very nice but I think the alcantara flows better honestly.

Here is an example of a rewrapped wheel with yellow alcantara stripe.

It doesn't have the bulge where it switches from alcantara to leather. Your wheel looks great, no doubt. Just personal preference if I was having it custom wrapped instead of OEM.

the alcantara stripe indeed looks nice. I guess the shop I bought it from could have done that as well. I just didn't think about it when asking for the changes. So in the end, an additional option for possible buyers
