I like it but it would be nicer with actual same valencia stitching this is more orange. Nice though OP.

You are correct...never heard of VO stitching. Plus, I wouldn't rely on only photos and lighting to compare the two oranges. Perhaps we can have Marcel do a side-by-side shot with the seat stitching.

FYI: the wheel can be used with the original center cap, the alcantara one I bought is optional. The price mentioned in the the first post is without the alcantara center cap (I double checked this with the shop I bought it from)

it is indeed. But if I understood correctly, you can buy the M logo separately to glue it on. Need to check that. Didn't think of it before...

Yea, I have seen the blue stripe wheel in person. It looks very nice but I think the alcantara flows better honestly.
Here is an example of a rewrapped wheel with yellow alcantara stripe. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-M...item336b59498d It doesn't have the bulge where it switches from alcantara to leather. Your wheel looks great, no doubt. Just personal preference if I was having it custom wrapped instead of OEM. |
