Windows and sunroof open this morning ???
OK, yesterday afternoon when I got home the windows and sunroof where closed. BUT when I went to leave for work this morning ALL the windows, including the sunroof was open. I parked outside last night so I am sooooo glad that it did not rain.
Is there anyway I might have sat on my keys and open the windows from inside the house????

Okay, after reading that I can't resist:
What is every driver's worst nightmare? . . . . . . . . . You dream that you are stuck in a bumper-to-bumper traffic jam. The car in front of you is a Ford Pinto - You look in the mirror, and the car behind you is an Audi 5000. . . Have Fun, Rick |

Same thing happened on my E46 Coupe, keys we on a table, and yes, it bloody rain, car was still locked though.. BMW turned that function off, but asked them to turn it back on, hasn't happened since..
The MK1 TT used to do the same, especially if both doors were closed at the same time.. You could do a window reset on the TT, not sure if you can on the BM.. |

yep. you hit the unlock button and held it for about 15 full seconds. (2-4 seconds to start the windows to go down, then another 10 or so seconds to have the windows drop and then the sunroof open.
kind of handy when you walk up to your car and you know its going to be hot. |

I took your car out last night for a few beers with my buds. Sorry I forgot to close it up. No harm done, I hope.
