yeah i know right 2 days from las vegas to central PA... amazing..!

so the plan is to put these on, drive around a bit and see what i think, and then maybe paint them either gloss black to go with the grilles or white to go with the car.. questions:

1) if i remove them will i damage the headlights in any way? or can i remove all that adhesive residue easily?

2) what kind of paint do i use and is there any fancy procedure or do i just spray it? what about if i say paint it gloss black then want to paint it white, what's the procedure?

Nope, won't damage a thing.

They come off pretty easily. In fact, I'd add some extra tape when you have them how you like them just to be safe.

I'm not too sure about painting parts. I always take it to an auto body shop. I would check the black, and if you like it then have them match the grills, and if you want white have them match the paint code under your hood.

Tried mine on with no paint and it looks awesome, the unpainted black goes well with the black grilles and the contest with the AW hood makes it look really aggressive, similar effect to the diffuser in the rear.

The tape that comes on the eyelid does seem to be really weak. Has anyone had problems with it? Wondering whether to go to walmart to get some stronger 2 sided tape to replace these.. Really wanna avoid that place tho lol

If you get extra tape, use the 3M automotive tape. It's clear with the red backing. It won't leave any marks if/when you take it off.

Is there such thing a a double sided automotive tape that sticks more than the one that came on the eyelid or would I just be putting more of the same tape? Because the inner surface is curved and the contact points with the headlight already have the thin strip of tape on them..

Well, @ 5pm we will see how unlucky you are. Just hope someone doesn't pay. Honestly, a couple people on the list haven't chimed in for a while, so they may have lost interest and just never said anything.
