Question Wastegate/Turbo Squeak?

Hey everyone,

I had my wastegate actuators (only) replaced under warranty a month ago.
A few days, maybe a week after I got the car back I started to notice a squeak when I turn the car off.

This noise is heard as the engine stops, its the very last noise it makes.
Im thinking it could just be the wastegates or throttle.
I hope its not the turbos coming to a squeaking stop.

Engine mods:
JB4
DCI
N55 midpipe

Here is a video, the noise is at 0:03

Thanks

**EDIT**
I think I was right, it seems to be the wastegate or or actuator that is making the noise
Here is a new video

Is your car a manual? Does this noise go away when you switch the engine off WITH your foot depressing the clutch?

Well... I have no idea what that sound is. I hear your squeak and then a Puffff... sound.

Maybe make another video and show it to your dealer? Sounds like a vacuum diaphragm is leaking or loosing its vacuum for that Pufff sound. The squeak could be your WG's. Have you checked your vacuum lines running to the WG down there? Its common for them to come undone.

That actually sounds cute. It's like your car ate a bird.

No idea what it is. But I'm very interested

Thanks Dackel,
I think the sound at the end was either me, or the intakes.
Ill check all my vacuum lines and report back.

Try and get a video of yours

Ill attempt to make another one today this time trying to eliminate all other noises.
I think my wife rolled up the window right after she shut the car off and thats the sound you hear after the squeak.

Try this. Open your hood and looking at the engine look to your left. You'll see 2 little black tanks (IDK what they are called) Disconnect one of the vacuum lines on the top. Your car should sound a bit louder since the waste gates are now fully open. (I accidentally left the lines off when I put my car back together and I found out that its connected to your actuators and leaving the lines off make the waste gates stay open) Now see if you get the sound. If you dont get the squeak anymore then you know for sure the sound it coming from one of the actuators. Hope this helps.

What a coincidence; I was about to post about the exact same thing. However, mine is more pronounced when I shut off the car, it sounds like a rusty gate closing. It also happens sometimes when I give it a little gas in first gear from a complete stop. I'll try to post a vid when I can.

Lubricated the actuator rod with some spray - worked.
