My 2013 128i European Delivery trip log

I am at the airport in Boston awaiting my flight to Greece. I added a ED to my European trip just last month, but it's all worked out and I'm picking my new car up next Friday July 12.

Ill post updates over the next two weeks.

The two biggest highlights will be the col de la bonnette pass in the French alps and the Millau Viaduct (highest bridge in the world).

For four days I will be driving the route below.

Congats on the ED. I will be in Munich on the 22nd to get my new 135i. Serious miles on your trip. Do envy your ride over Millau Viaduct, saw it on the Discovery Channel. Probably just slightly better than the drive of the Zakem Bridge in Boston. lol

man thats awesome , im also from ma and just took delivery of my m-sport , carbon black , 128 coupe last week. i wanted to do the euro pickup so bad looks like you had a great time wish i could have done it. congrats

Looks awesome. How are you enjoying that mineral grey? I don't think the pictures ever quite do it justice and in dim lighting and at night, ooh nilly.

It's a shame you can't just drive it to the airport, right into the belly of the plane and have it fly back with you. How long does it take with European Delivery to get it when you get home? That wait must be agonizing! =P

The wait isn't so bad...I have my 07 328 to keep me busy (trying to sell it) until the 1 arrives. The 1 is more fun to drive though (less weight, the engine is smoother, and so forth).

I wanted the carbon black badly w/oyster interior, but ultimately I didn't want to keep another black car clean. Also, after the gym I am all sweaty and the oyster would never have stayed clean. So, MGM/Coral is my car. Where in MA are you?

western ma / springfield area , i now have 2 dark cars to care for which defiantly eats up one of my days off lol , glad you enjoyed your trip your car looks great
