Wells thats good to know, they just don't look that reputable. I can not even find a phone number or email for them, would you have either of these? Do they have a return policy?

Chinese exhaust parts tend to crack around the welds after a while.

How much should labor run for installation of these headers?

I have seen people on the forums quoted from $800 and up...most around $1K. It's not a complicated job, just time consuming with very small areas to work in.

I think anyone who is slightly mechanically inclined can do it, you just have to take your time. Having a lift would be nice. I did mine on jack-stands.

That's why I mentioned in the other post that going with a brand that others have already had success with really makes a difference. Even the best fitting headers are a pain to install. If you get a brand that isn't pretty much a perfect fit...it just exaggerates the work.

I ordered the Ali Express headers, and currently have the AA set on my other car. I will compare the two when they arrive. I'm thinking the Roundelwork and AA are coming from the same factory...guess I'll see.

Keep me updated. One guy said ali express headers may have bad welds, but im guessing that was speculation.

No video...I don't even have a camera aside from my phone. But no drone and not loud at all while crusing. Slightly louder than the stock system, but deeper sounding. WOT it does get louder, but not obnoxious. Unless the windows are down...you don't notice it. I have had nothing but compliments.

But Magnaflow does include its own resonator.

In fact, my car was louder when it was stock when I bought it as the previous owner had done a muffler delete. And I think leaving my secondary cats in place played a big role in keeping noise and drone down.

First I have to receive them, and make sure they are acceptable. I am doing a manual swap, suspension overhaul, and m-conversion, so I havent figured my workflow yet. I'll give some feedback amd pics as soon as I get them.

So I received the Aliexpress headers. I have a set of the AA headers installed on another car, so I was able to roughly compare them.

Look pretty much identical save for the AA badge. Weld quality is identical, location of 02 bungs looks identical, same construction, location of welds, etc.

I will not be installing them til after the New year, so I can't comment on fitment, but other than that, they appear to be the same.

They do look good.

I think the biggest complaint about most of these and other "EBay" headers have been consistency.

It's the same way in the Corvette world. You have 3 big players...then you have the "generic" ones like OBX.

The problem was if you got a good set...they looked really good. But others would order from the same seller and their set would look nothing like what someone else would buy.

It was analogous to if you got a set made on Monday, you were good. But if your set happened to be made close to quitting time at the end of the work week....the quality would be extremely different.

100% this ^^

Most of what you pay for when you buy from *insert big-manufacturing Asian country here* is the level of quality control.

I'm wondering the quality of the metal too - ability to withstand heat cycles, rain, strain from thermal expansion, etc. I haven't ever seen any reports from any manufacturer about cracking headers, but it is a real concern.

Time will tell.

Yah, I looked at the return policy before ordering.

As I mentioned, I already have an AA set, and was curious to the similarity. Especially since the Roundelworks ones were confirmed to be identical to AA, that led me to believe there was a good chance the Aliexpress ones were also of same origin, given the same 02 bung locations and appearance. Appears to be the case.
