Anyone able to order Savanna Beige?

Has anyone been able to order Savanna Beige yet? Based on the newest brochures and general rumors, Savanna beige will be an option.

I was told that I could order it for March production. Never having learned the art of delayed gratification, I have ordered taupe! I am still concerned that may be too light, and will e-mail my dealer from work this am to see if Savanna beige might be a priority-1 option. I haven't managed to see Savanna beige in person either, though, so it might turn out to be too yellow. . . :iono:

I initially ordered Taupe and then saw more pictures online...It's too light. I changed the Taupe to Black, but now I am wondering about Savanna Beige.

Beige is what I initially wanted, but who wants to wait another month? :eyebulge:

I would've ordered Savanna Beige, except two reasons. First, I didn't want to wait. Secondly, I wanted one of the two toned interiors, and we have zero information about Savanna.

That's why I went with Terra.

Does anyone know if the Savanna Beige is just the seats & door panel inserts (like coral red or terra) with the rest black- or is it beige for the rest of the doors & carpet- like the taupe includes all of doors & carpet. ???

I think Savanna Beige is the entire interior.

It's found in the 128 cabrio ordering guide that I found on this forum. Here's a direct quote: "For Coral Red, Lemon and Savanna Beige, the only Items in leather colour are the seats and door panel inserts;

Well if that's the case, I am glad I changed to black.

Why's that? I think two-tone generally looks pretty classy. I've ordered the saddle on my E92 and against the other black parts and grey poplar trim, it looks fantastic, almost exclusive. And colours other than black leather really bring out the fine stitching (at least with the Dakota leather on the E92).

Edit: Nevertheless, I do think that the black leather is well suited to the AW exterior you are considering. I've seen AW with saddle on the E92 and that combination looks unbelievable !!! Gotta see to really get the feeling - pics do little justice.

I'm just not a fan of drastic (aka Beige to Black) two-tone interiors.

That taupe interior color - truly puketastic. The lack of decent color choices in the leatherette is obviously meant to force you to plonk down cash for a decent shade of leather....

strange. ordering beige in the UK gets you the full interior treatment. hmmm i might like it this way if this actually happens.

joelk, beige in the UK is the regular beige. So it will have full colour treatment. Savanna beige in North America is slightly different.
