Hey Dodgey you and I think the same. I also dont like the 3-series Coupe's rear quarter. I also considered a Z4 coupe before anything else until I saw the 135 coupe. I also much prefer the Cayman over the Boxster OR 911.

[quote=harpoon;141370]Hi all,

I am just wondering if any of you with orders for 135s considered buying an 06/07 335 for similar money? If not why not?

I think they are a great looking car and drove one a couple of weeks ago. I currently drive a 350z and like the "chuckability" factor of it which I think the 335 doesn't have but maybe the 135 does?

What I failed to mention was that I traded in my 05 330ci for the 135i vert..
In the end, even with the price difference with the 335i vert, I still have gone for the 1r just for the size..
I have had 3 series BMW's for the past 20 odd years..
Time for a change..
The 135i vert is by far sexier than the 335i vert IMO..
It is a true vert sports car..

You could always get a new 335i coupe with just the sport package for $42k. It already comes pretty loaded. Power everything including power seats and Logic7.

It's not fair when you compare the prices here and Micky Mouse Land, everything costs double than there, that is why the 135 is a complete bargain, until last year if you want something that fast and with that much power you would have to settle for an Evo, Sti or a 350Z, but then along the people at BMW had an epiphany and decide to intriduce the 1 coupe at that prize and at least BMW Australia had a bright idea and with that they have score a goal, they will start selling like hot cakes.
135 vs 335 no brainer, 135 and with the difference you can get e VW GTi
