How is the interior lighting set up in the convertible?

'Vert owners (or anyone that knows)... Obviously, the 'vert's soft top eliminates the interior lights in the conventional locations. So, how is the interior lighting handled?

We'll just have to wait for a knowledgable 'vert owner to come along and solve this.

Good question as it's my first vert and hadn't thought about this and I don't recall what the demo 128 had since it was daytime and I had the roof off. I'm sure all the vert owners are out driving their vehicles so we'll find out tonight.

It's dark so I won't take a photo, but there's a sort of rim at the top of the windshield where the top locks into. In the center of that is a small console, above the rear view mirror, with interior lights and the access for BMW Assist and maybe one or two other things.

Yup, Verts have the lights just above the rear view mirror on the upper part just above the windshield :w00t:
