135i - rattle at 2000-2700 rpm, is it the wastegate?
Performance is solid, but I get an annoying rattle at 2000-2700 rpm when accelerating and is still somewhat noticeable after letting off the gas in that range of rpm. I also noticed this sound is more exaggerated in sport mode. Any ideas?

Yeah might be that, but not as bad as that. Also, I don’t hear it every time I go through that range but usually I do. This morning I got on the throttle harder and didn’t hear it, but then at another time when I was accelerating more casually I heard it. It’s also fairly common for me to hear it at freeway speeds when lightly on the gas, around 70-80mph and lightly on the gas you will definitely notice it in the range of 2000-2700.

Recorded these, safe to assume it’s the wastegate? Going to adjust in MHD and see how it goes if so.
Also, the CEL Is for the low pressure fuel sensor, will be replacing soon with the updated one. |
