Someone was thinking! That was my next idea….

Installed in the car with the lights off

Lights ON. Definitely considering going to white LED's..

Close up. Hard to tell they're not factory.

Had an idea for a horsepower scale. Do you think this is useful?

Cool idea but you'd have to look at everybody's dynos and make each person their own custom scale.

EDIT: Now that I actually look at our gauges, guess it is not really possible with the temp and fuel gauge at the bottom.

Just throwing this out there.......

I know one big problem I have is being able to see the top of my gauges. I can really only see about 1/2 without crouching down.

Flying Miata makes faces that use the bottom of the gauges, just flip the needles over. Would something like this be possible?:

True, and people here are always tweaking their cars, so it would always be changing.

It's a good idea, but it won't work because of the location of the gas and temperature needles.

Right. Who's ever said, "I'm done modding my car"? hahaha. We'd have to get new gauges every 6 months. I'm not saying people wouldn't do that though. Maybe a good money maker for you.

I have an european 116i, so no oil temperature, fuel gauge to the right, rev counter to 7000 and 240km/t speedo.

Would it be possible to get a set of the 1M styles gauges with these "specs"?

(Bad) picture from my car:

Looks good, but I'd miss the markings in between empty/quarter/half/three quarters/full as I use the JB4 gauge hijack feature for boost and IATs

reinhard@wunschtacho.de Email this guy and he will be able to help you out. They are usually quick to respond and this particular person speaks English very well as they are from Germany.

They make the gauge faces custom and to correct myself they are 79 euros and not 89 euros for a custom set. Just let him know what you want and he could probably send you pictures of the gauge face with in an hour or two like the picture you see in my last post.

anyone else think it'd be cool to have the fuel gage read boost?
like for the jb4 boost on fuel override, it could have a mini turbo symbol instead fuel and read boost, 0 - 5 - 10 - 15 - 20 psi

Sure, i can do the boost gauge.
Also, if you don't want Km/h in the inner speedo, i can add a second logo.

Here is the link to the auction:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/131143014954?item=131143014954
If you want one, just buy through ebay and I'll do a custom one.

Another vote for 128i gauge faces. I would love to see what you could do for our cars.
