RB Turbo PCV

Hey guys

I'm ramping up with a list of components for my intake clean with intake profile gaskets, a new valve cover gasket, BMS OCC (which I already have but haven't got around to installing)

One component for which I wish to upgrade is the PCV valve.

Rob Beck from RB Turbos offers a custom PCV valve which basically has been designed to improve upon the existing ventilation system to minimise oil vapour buildup.

http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15382

DIY Install instructions:

http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=190

RB normally charge $45 per valve + P&H which these days the cheapest option by usps is $23.95 due to their price hike, but Rob is keen to help us guys out downunder and offer me a bulk discount at a reduced price.

The cost will be $45 AUD per valve delivered to your doorstep anywhere in Australia (I will distribute them once they all arrive in Australia).

If you're interested please let me know

For those of you who have minor oil leaks, and would be doing a walnut blast/intake clean the following part #'s are what you would require:

List of part #'s:

Intake manifold profile gaskets: 11 61 7 547 242

Item #2:

Blow by vent hose 11 15 7 553 949 (RB reccomend replacing this item, if you have a OCC you don't need to)

Valve cover kit This is due to a few small minor oil leaks I have found around the engine, which apparently is quite common on the N54

7544369 bolts x 26
11 12 7 565 286 gasket
11 12 7 548 063 bolts x 3
11 12 7 556 977 bolts x 2

These bolts are Al, and its recommended that you replace them, as Al has lower transformation properties in comparison to steel, and thus can fatigue and break off easily upon re torquing or removal.

The PCV valve from Rob is a great little product. I installed one on my 135i and I have one for my 335i but just haven't got around to doing it as yet. I also have a spare blow by hose cause its pretty easy to snap the sides of the clip when installing.

Boosted N54's have a real problem with blow by oil. Getting a BMS OCC paired with the upgraded PCV is a must.

Feel free to drop in Steve today if you're out and about and need your car washed, I'm going to wash the cars today with my snow foam kit and do the 2 bucket wash afterwards and interior cleanup also.

Update guys!

The valves have been paid for, Rob expects them to be sent out later this week.

If that's the case expect a mid-late June delivery to your doorstep.
