iPad setup

Anyone recommend just using an old iPad mini to use over hotspot for Waze, Spotify, etc. while being mounted with a cd holder mount?

I think it would work great but the problem is where do you hide the tablet when you park your car? I have a convertible, so under the seat or the trunk (but someone may see you doing it)? To those who don't know there is no pouch for the convertible seats behind them, just cutouts for legs.

Not an iPad mini but I switch between an Amazon fire and lg g pad on a cd mount for most of my entertainment. Whenever I'm parked I just throw it on the side of the seat and my bolsters camouflage it nicely .
