N5 tuner wide body review
Absolute Nightmare, 0/5 stars.
Keep in mind this is my experience with the company and widebody kit. Maybe mine was a rushed job but is still unacceptable. I bought these for my 135i, with shipping the total cost was around $1500. Shipping took 14 weeks instead of the 6-8 weeks. It took about 3 months to make it fit and look good so it was ready for paint. Originally i was going to just do bolt on because I didn't have the time to mold the kit but i had no choice because of the poor fitment. The rear flares do not match the body lines of the car nor does the edge fit flush against the car. The fiberglass is really thin so it cracks/snaps easy under pressure which you will have to put on it in order to make it somewhat fit out of the box. The front fenders do not fit at all. In order to bolt it up to the car it will most likely snap or crack from the pressure of bending it. Cant close the hood cause the inside edge is at an angle so when you close the hood it will break the edge clean off the fender. All of the edges are not straight and are wavy as hell so its impossible to get a good gap without grinding the edge. Like the rears they are very thin so will snap very easy. In my case i measured them and they are not 15mm wider then stock as advertised, they are as wide as stock fenders defeating the whole purpose. The shape of the fender is completely off so when you finally get it to fit flush on the car with good gaps, there will be a huge gap above the headlight and up by the pillars. Overall this wide body is not worth the $1200 price tag, not even worth $200. To top it off when i contacted there customer support for a refund since these were complete garbage. After sending in pictures as proof they said it was a problem with my CLEAN TITLE never wrecked car! After a month they sent me $200 which is a complete f you. As an experienced body man who has installed dozens of widebodys I Would not recommend this kit to an experienced or inexperienced person who is interested in this widebody. |

i apologize since most of these are midway through modifying and fitting them. But you can get an idea from the amount of work put in them at that time. On the rears i made custom brackets to make the body lines level since they wanted to sag down. Showed some pictures of the gap difference before adding material and grinding them. The headlight gap in the front. And the rear bumper pieces that were completely off.
