Wheels 18x8.5 et35

Hi, I have 18x8.5 ET35 wheels in my car in front with 215/40 tires and it's too stretched, if I put 225/40 in, won't it scrape on any side and the tire will come out a lot?

Hard to tell. I have 18"x8.5" ET45 Apex wheels on the front of my 128i with 225/40 tires and there's no problem at all.
