parking light LED coding with bimmercode
Hi,
I switched the parking light bulbs to LED and Iīm getting a error since then. I got inpa, ista but didnīt feel comfortable coding with nscexpert. So I got a bluetooth OBD thing and got me the bimmercode app. Super convenient. I got coded some nice features within minutes. But for the parking light error I couldnt figure out until now. Iīm a german living in Michigan so I know what some of these weird BMW codings are meaning. I gotta switch off the Kaltueberwachung and Warmueberwachung. I did it where I think itīs necessary. But error still pops up. I donīt wanna switch off all Ueberwachung (check light function) Does anyone one know which I need to switch off for that tiny parking light bulb? been searching the web and e 90 forums but never found a solution on this. Would appreciate if someone knows which one to set not active. Greets from Michigan Pete |

i figured it out.
Everything with SL and POL needs to be set to not active. After that you can install those bulbs without getting those annoying warnings in the cockpit: https://www.sylvania-automotive.com/...2825SL.BP.html It looks so much better with those LEDS. |

The oem yellows look like garbage if you upgraded to non-oem bulbs (not yellow). You can install parking light's leds you just need to make sure they fit through the small circle hole. I coded out all light errors with Carly.
