I read the standard headunit system in 130i does not allow music to be played, it can only do phone calls. Will the 130i with iDrive allow music to be played over bluetooth?

It's got an AUX-in point but for bluetooth I believe you need an LCI model.

Stuck with the 17s and went 225/45 front and 235/45 rear. Potenza Re003 all round, love them on my wife's megane so went with them. Going from 215 to 225 in the front has reduced understeer, definitely feels more balanced to me. Wider rears does look nicer though

Hey Walkie did you only get the Subframe Nolathane bushes?

Any other bushes worth swapping out? Differential bushes, control arm bushes etc.

Hey mate, yes I only did the rear subframe bushes. My car feels pretty tight at 100k km so haven't felt the need to play with any other ones just yet.

Ah alright, did you buy yours locally in Sydney?

I've also been struggling to find an N55 muffler called ASV Euro Parts, Exotic car parts, went to place in Seven hills. Where did you get yours?

Gumtree for the exhaust mate, they pop up from time to time.

I bought my bushes online from somewhere like Ezi AutoParts.

The 3 was perhaps the quickest car on the day, judging by its tyre wear, whilst the GT3 had under 2k km on it from memory (991.2 manual!) so wasn't pushing beyond about 5/10th

unfortunately not, the best I could do was get a working USB unit from a E84 X1. Easiest way to get bluetooth streaming in a 130i is via a small usb powered bluetooth receiver that is plugged into the AUX.

There's some android based touch screen units that are getting pretty good. You can find them on the Chinese eBay for about 500au landed. If you have idrive its easier otherwise you need to cut the dash.

BMS Short throw clutch stop. I had to remove one spacer to get enable the car to start with clutch engaged.

Overall, the BMS spacers seem very high quality and the looks are improved greatly. It still looks "factory" but just better. The clutch stop removes a little bit of travel but I guess it won't really make a difference until fast shifting on a mountain run.
I also bought 12mm spacers for the rear but im rubbing quite badly... :/ did you modify anything? I have style 313 wheels which are the same offset and width as your 269. Hope you still check this forum lol

Yes, 12mm is not good in the rear. I used to have the same setup, I ran 12mm at the front and 10mm rear. Still had to slightly fold the bumper tab where it meets the fender a bit at the rear. I was lowered slightly on a Bilstein B12 kit.

For 17" winter sizes I'd swap the 12mm to rear and 10mm front and had no issues (215 width winters).

So long story short, there's not much room and 12mm for sure would rub in my experience on big bumps.

I was originally looking for a used 130i because they were a good compromise between the sedate 125i and the more balls out 135i. Unfortunately the 130i was pretty much non-existant on the Australian used car market, so my balls got to breathe some fresh air.
