Potential hpfp/boost leak/timing issues??
Currently have a 2011 e82 135i with 59k miles, VRSF catless downpipes, MHD stage 2 Tune; my car is throwing two shadow codes atm:
- 2BDE - Fuel high pressure during fuel injection release: Pressure too low. - 2BF0 Kraftstoffhochdruck bei oder nach Freigabe der Einspritzung (2. Umweltbedingungssatz nach Zeitverzögerung): Druck zu niedrig (High fuel pressure during or after the injection has been released (2nd set of environmental conditions after time delay): Pressure too low) I also have some logs here: https://datazap.me/u/bumswagon/log-1...og=0&data=4-20 https://datazap.me/u/bumswagon/log-1...og=0&data=4-20 I experience multiple cranks on start up especially when the car is already warm. I just changed the spark plugs and ignition coils but that didn't fix this issue although it was needed. What could my issues be?? |

Hard to say from idle log / low throttle log where lph/lpfp not logged. Your high pressure pump isn't pegged below 700 which is good.
Better to do a proper 3rd gear log first with typical channels selected. Though, long cranks does sound suspicious of hpfp.

I had the exact same shadow codes and long cranks. I replaced the HPFP and both are gone.
I found a nice like new unit for a good price so took the plunge, but these are quite expensive if it ends up being something else ... my indy shop offered to do the test with a unit they had on hand if I paid labor, but I didn't go that route in the end. |
