Thumbs down One Thing I Wish The 135i Had

Well, actually two things — foglights! :iono:

Oh well! I guess we can't have everything!

Anyone know where the cornering lights are in the 1's headlight units (not the swivelling xenons but the static halogen cornering lights)?

Anyone?

I know the X5's static cornering lights are in the foglights.

And VW's Passat's cornering lights are integrated into the sides of the headlight clusters.

I don't care about fog lights. At all. It would be about sixty seventh on my list of 66 things I wish the 135i had.

In my 2 years of driving an E90, I've only used the foglights twice. They are nice for cosmetic purposes, but not a necessary feature.

I took out the fogs on my E36 M3 to save 3 lbs. at the front of the car--never missed them.

tbh, I don't know what the hell a "static cornering light" is.

I know you have the following:

Low beam
high beam
turn signal
parking lights
accesory lighting (angel eyes)

cornering light? you got me...

One of the minor details that helped garner 3 consecutive Regional SCCA Solo class championships.

^ awesome for you...

Back on topic, I believe he is talking about those lights on some cars that come on when you put on your turn signal. My mom, who is a grandma, has them on her Buick Ranier, and had them on her Lincoln too...

I don't think they are necessary and when I see them, I automatically think "grandma car."

But I, too, wish the car had fogs. I have a hard enough time see'ing at night without them. They really come in handy when trying to miss those back-road TN pot holes...

With well designed Xenon's (BMW has them) you don't need driving lights.
