I was wondering, has anyone tried fitting springs spec'ed for a different engine?
I'm thinking of 535 pro-kits for a 528 .. cuz i read prokits give quite a mean drop.. since the 528 is about 45kgs lighter up front, the front would sit higher by about 5mm(0.2").. so u can avoid 'rake' pls tell me how wrong I am, again |

but aren't they always compressed once they're on, so a 528 with 535 spec'd springs would sit higher slightly then with 528 spec'd springs?
just wondering how common this is, if u wanted to fine-tune the ride height, and also adjust for your normal load(passengers) has anyone played with the springs from 1/3/5/7 series etc. - could u theoretically cross-spring our cars according to our preferences? (assuming fitment is not an issue) |

So true. Never mind the pics, nobody wants to see the stance, right? My car could look like a golf cart as long as it handled well.

Yes. Could be worth trying grimlock, if you don't want low height!

Now that some time has passed, are you still liking this setup? I got my performance springs in this morning, will be ordering the FSDs very soon. Just wanted to make sure i made the right choice.

I'll see about getting some photo's up between rock climbing in the morning and when I park myself in front of the MotoGP for the afternoon. |
